How many of you have read “Five people you meet in Heaven” – Mitch Albom?
Each person’s life effects millions, one must always think of:
a) Happy Thoughts -It’s really not that difficult you know! unless you have trained your brain to always look at the dark side.
b) Spread Happiness – Always spread joy and happiness, you’re happy, share it. Spread the word. You never who becomes happy just to hear that you are happy.
c) No Negative Thoughts – Just stop thinking, put on your favorite music track and dance like there is no tomorrow, you’ll be surprised how easily you forgot whatever happened earlier.
d) Be Selfless and not Selfish – Make it your life Mantra. You’ll be surprised that the maximum things that make you selfish are “things” which are lifeless.
e) Gratitude – Magic = Thank You. Be thankful for what you have, what you are and where you are going.
You never know whose life transforms just because of a simple act performed by YOU.
Follow the concept of ARK(acts of random kindness)-mentioned in the movie “Evan Almighty”.
The book(fpymih) here tries to explain the various connections people have when they are alive with numerous contemporaries, known or unknown to them and how just with a simple twist of fate the world becomes topsy-turvy.
The book gives you goosebumps, the sheer genuineness strikes a million chords.
And all I wanted to do was read “Tuesdays with Morrie” by the same author but caught this one instead and I don’t regret it.
A wonderful read.
Another good read and the reason behind this post will be Khalid Hosseini, another fantastic author who wrote “The Kite Runner” and “A Thousand Splendid Suns”. His new book “And the mountains echoed” comes out on 21st of this month and I am super excited!
“One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs…
Or the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her walls …..”
So, the reason for this post will also be this constant search for “Self”. For all those looking for the Pot of Gold, search it within, don’t go around looking for it at the end of the rainbow.
